Control4 Govee: Obtaining an API Key

Control4 Govee: Obtaining an API Key

An API is required for Govee's Cloud devices to be controlled via Control4.
  1. Ensure that you are using Govee V3 Agent. V1 uses an older protocol which doesn't support many devices
  2. If the device supports LAN, it is generally recommended to use LAN instead
  3. To Obtain an API key, you must request an API key at:  https://developer.govee.com/reference/apply-you-govee-api-key
  4. Add the API key to the "Govee API Key" Property in Agent V3 and use the "Autosetup Cloud Devices" action to provision them
