Control4 UniFi: Some LiveViews are missing in UniFi Protect ViewPort Views List

Symptom

The UnIfi Viewport is missing views in the Chowmain UniFi ViewPort driver, or only shows Default view as the only option. New Views are unable to be selected




Solution

UniFi now sets new Views as private by default. To set to allow access using the ViewPort API via webpage: Navigate to the Dashboard / main screen in UniFi Protect on the website (the screen with 4 squares)

However your mouse over the camera views and select the view at the bottom. Click the Pencil icon


Click Share with Protect ViewPort and Share Multi-View Grid


It may take a few minutes for the additional liveports to be detected in Control4
