C4 ELK M1: Programming is moved incorrectly. Or shows incorrectly in Detective Suite
Symptoms
Detective Suite May show that programming has moved to a variable. Events may fire incorrectly when variables are created and during some changes.
Solution
This is caused by a conflict between Event ID's and Variables. Newly added devices added since 20260618 uses a new Event Engine which eliminates this issue
- Update to ELK V2 20260618.
- Check the Event Engine property. If it says Original Event Engine, you will have to add a new ELK Panel device to the project, and move all programming to the new device
