Control4 Daikin WiFi Split: Unable To Connect

X4 / OS 4.1.X
As of December 2025, we have identified a potential issue with some units in X4 showing SSL Connect Error (it may also show Error 35). This cause is still under active investigation with Control4 (C4OS-15968), and there is currently no known solution

Symptom:

The Chowmain WiFi Split driver is unable to connect to the Daikin WiFi Split AC and Device Properties do not fill

Solutions:

1. Ensure you are using the latest version:  https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-daikin-wifi#revisions
2. Ensure that the licence is valid
3. Use Display Diagnostics for further information
4. Ensure the Correct IP is selected, and the correct WiFi Adapter Type is selected. Ensure the IP can be pinged
5. Ensure you are using the correct Daikin driver
