Overview

The Tank Utility driver for Control4 requires a separate account registration process to function properly. This registration is distinct from the Tank Utility app’s registration and web interface. To ensure smooth integration, please follow the instructions below to create your account.

Registration Process

  1. Separate Registration Required:
To use the Tank Utility driver for Control4, you need to register an account specifically through the dedicated web portal for Generac Fuel. This is different from registering within the Tank Utility app itself.

  2. Registration URL:
Create your account by visiting the following link:
    https://app.generacfuel.com/#!/login

  3. Login Credentials:
After registering, use the same credentials in the Control4 driver to enable proper communication with Tank Utility.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure that your registration email and password are correctly entered in the Control4 driver settings.
  • Verify your internet connection and ensure your Tank Utility hardware is operational.
  • Registration has to be via the URL above.  This is in addition to registration via their app.

By completing the registration at the provided URL, your Control4 system can effectively monitor and manage your fuel levels via the Tank Utility driver.
