Can I still use SD card or cloud recording in my Tapo Cameras when using the Control4 driver?


Yes. TP-Link Tapo cloud recording and local microSD card recording continue to operate independently while the camera is integrated with Control4. The Control4 driver provides live video viewing through Control4 Navigators, while recording functions remain managed by the Tapo platform.

Please note that recorded footage must be accessed and played back using the TP-Link Tapo app for iOS or Android, as playback of cloud or SD card recordings is not available through the Control4 interface.
