The driver requires a registered account with an active subscription to the One Call API 3.0 service. This service is free for up to 1,000 API calls per day, which is more than sufficient when each account is assigned to a single customer — the driver’s design ensures it will not exceed that limit.
If data fails to populate, it’s usually because the user has created an OpenWeatherMap account but has not subscribed to a plan. Note that even the Basic plan now requires credit card details to function.
