Control4 Philips Hue: Bridge Disconnected or Real Time Connection Failed

Symptoms

Control4 is unable to connect to bridge or real time feedback status is disconnected

Solution

Connection Status Disconnected

  1. Ensure that System Requirements have been met.
  2. Ensure that Hue bridge is set to Static IP, or a static IP has been assigned via DHCP
  3. Ensure that Bridge IP Address and Bridge Port (default is 443) is set correctly in Hue Bridge Driver 
  4. Ensure that Bridge is linked correctly. Refer to our Setup Guide for more information on linking
  5. Ensure that latest driver version is installed
  6. Check that bridge is online and network allows connection between Control4 and the Bridge
  7. Refer to Display Diagnostics for further information

Real Time Connection Disconnected. Connection Status is Connected

  1. Ensure that System Requirements have been met and firmware is up to date
  2. This condition may be temporary or may occur during a firmware update
  3. Power Cycle Bridge
  4. Use Display Diagnostics Action for more information (the results are shown in Lua tab)
