Control4 WLED: Light Disconnected. WLED Web Interface may should "Could not communicate with Light"

Problem

When using the Chowmain Control4 WLED driver, control to the light is lost in Control4. It may also show a "could not communicate with light" or similar message in the built in Web GUI of the light  

Solution

  1. Ensure you are using the latest Chowmain driver: https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-wled
  2. Ensure the driver has a valid licence or is in Trial mode
  3. There is a known issue with some WLED firmware versions (early 0.14.X versions) . Upgrading to 0.14.3 or later resolves this issue. More info is available in: https://github.com/wled/WLED/issues/3855
  4. Ensure there are no IP conflicts for the Control4 Primary Controller, or/and the WLED lighting device
  5. Check the Network / WiFi Stability  
  6. Ensure device is not overheating
  7. Ensure that a static IP has been set for the WLED light (or that an IP is reserved via DHCP)
