Control4 Govee: Some Cloud Lighting/Outlet Devices are not being detected / Discovered

  1. Some Devices (in particular, many light bulbs including the H600D) require an upgrade to our Govee V3 Driver to operate. V1/V2 will not detect many modern devices. Govee V3 utilises the "Awesome New API" (sic) from Govee and is a free upgrade for existing users. An Upgrade guide is available.    
  2. Run Display Diagnostics in Govee V3 Agent, and check LUA Window to ensure driver is working correctly
  3. Ensure you are using the latest Control4 OS
  4. Ensure that API Key is correct
  5. Ensure you utilise the Auto Setup Cloud Devices action for device setup
  6. The Govee Device must be added to the correct Govee account.
  7. Ensure that the Govee device can be controlled from phone when Bluetooth is disabled.
