Control4 Hisense VIDAA: TV Does not show pairing menu
TV does not show pairing menu required to pair TV to control4.
Solution
- Firmware for TV may not be compatible with this driver. Ensure the TV firmware is up to date.
- Ensure the TV is powered on and connected to the network.
- Ensure that the IP Address in the driver is set correctly.
- Power on TV first manually before attempting pairing
- If you fail to enter the pin code 3x, you may need to navigate to Settings > Connection > Device Management > Untrusted Device and remove Control4 from the list of untrusted devices. You can then try again. This is a protection measure built into the VIDAA firmware to prevent attacks
- Ensure that the latest Control4 Driver is being used
