CONTROL4 SKY: No IP control over Sky Q or Sky HD boxes

Each time a button is pressed within the Control4 Sky+HD / SkyQ driver, it establishes a temporary connection to the Sky set-top box, sends a single command, and then disconnects. If the driver fails to connect, the issue may be caused by one of the following:
  1. Incorrect IP Address: The Sky box’s IP address may have changed. Ensure it is configured with a static or reserved IP address.
  2. IP Conflict: Another device on the network may be using the same IP address, which can prevent communication.
  3. Eco Mode Enabled: When Eco mode is active, the Sky box enters a deep sleep state that disables network access when powered down. Follow the provided link to disable Eco mode.
